Beyonce’s Pregnancy Picture Used As Mural in Australia
A street artist from Melbourne paid tribute to Beyoncé’s maternity shoot by depicting her in a gigantic mural.
The graffiti artist whose name is Lushsux, used a photograph from the singer’s already-iconic pregnancy announcement as inspiration for his painting.
Lushsux—who considers himself a “meme artist”—replicated everything from the floral background to the draping of Queen Bey’s sheer veil in the five-story-tall work.
Beyoncé Knowles-Carter was born in Houston, Texas in 1981 and rose to fame as a member of the successful group Destiny’s Child.
With her most recent solo album, Lemonade, Beyoncé became the first artist ever to top the Billboard 200 list with six albums in a row.
Lushsux has previously raised eyebrows with his political murals, including depictions of Pauline Hanson in a hijab, and Donald Trump riding a bald eagle.
