Champions League: Exciting, Entertaining, Intriguing Round Of 16
By Olusiku Adenike
Sadly today the Champions League round of 16 will come to a sad end after all the exciting goals, drama, heartache and suspense it brought which will not be forgotten anytime soon but life goes on.
Barcelona showed the world why they are still the best club (my opinion) with that emphatic win that almost brought me to tears, Paris Saint-Germain on their part showed how they probably will never be on the same level as other “big clubs”.
Napoli showed they had the fight against the Real Madrid, Arsenal on the other hand were on the wrong end of making history I mean 10-2! A big club losing to that amount of goals is disheartening. I am not a big Arsenal fan but I would have loved for them to go down fighting. I did love watching Arsenal fan tv after their loss 😂.
Leicester oh Leicester is this really happening, looks like they can actually do it. I know people will say yeah they got lucky with the Premier League and their round of 16 fixture, but also they worked their socks off and persistently went at Sampaoli’s team so yeah they so… deserve this. But I do think the comparison between Arsene and Shakespeare is outrageous unless you are Piers Morgan.
So today it’s Monaco Vs Manchester City , Athletico Madrid Vs Bayer Leverkusen, if their first legs are anything to go by then we should expect goals galore.
