Kaduna Airport: First International Aircraft Touches Down
The diversion of flights to the Kaduna International Airport has commenced.
An Ethiopian Airline Boeing 787 was the first international airline to commence use of the airport, touching down at exactly 11:40-am from Addis-Ababa.
The Minister of State for Aviation Hadi Sirika was on ground to receive the passegers.
In another development, a peace plan has been drawn up for the Peoples Democratic Party.
It includes conditions for a National Convention to be presided over by the National Chairman, Ali Modu Sheriff. The convention is tentatively slated for June 30.
According to the party’s reconciliation committee, the national convention planning committee to be set up by Senator Sheriff must draw its membership from all the organs of the party and other key stakeholders.
