South African club Mamelodi Sundowns have dropped a big hint that they have signed retired Jamaican track legend Usain Bolt.

On Sunday the 31-year-old took to Twitter to confirm he had signed a contract with a club, realising his dream of becoming a footballer.
Bolt outlined his plans for a career switch to football with a scheduled tryout with Borrusia Dortmund for March. A few weeks ago, he enjoyed a trial with Mamelodi Sundowns during his visit to South Africa and now they appear favourites to signing the former sprinter.
The eight-time Olympic gold medalist over the years has been vocal about his desire to make it as a footballer and how he one day wants to play for his favourite club, Manchester United.
It’s worth noting Mamelodi Sundowns have Puma as their kit sponsor―the German brand is also a longtime sponsor of Bolt, so there’s reason to believe this is little more than a publicity stunt.
