Watch Patoranking Find Love In Togo In The Video For ‘Hale Hale’
Patoranking has been pretty low key for the past couple of months; his most high-profile gig being his blink-and-you-miss-it feature on Major Lazer’s “Particula” and his recurring role as a coach on the second season of The Voice Nigeria.
So, it’s a bit surprising (and more than a little annoying) that instead of dropping a brand new track, he just released a music video for “Hale Hale”, a song off his one-year-old debut album, God Over Everything.
While “Hale Hale” isn’t even one of the standouts on his brilliant but excessive 16-track album, it’s still a pretty solid track that will definitely do well with this new-found push (the video already has almost 300,000 views on YouTube).
Shot in Togo by AJE filmworks, the music video follows Patoranking as he tries to woo the object of his affections. The video’s sweet and funny love story is also intercut with clips of high-energy dancers on the streets of Togo.
