Xenophobic Attack On Nigerians In South Africa; Nigerian Govt Reacts
The Federal Government has directed the Nigerian High Commission in South Africa to investigate the xenophobic attacks on Nigerians.
The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikan Olaiye, said that the findings of the probe would be available this week.
There were reports of Nigerians being killed in Pretoria and the looting of their property last week Thursday through friday.
Last year a Nigerian Tochukwu was killed by South African police and according to the Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Diapora, Mrs. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, over 100 Nigerians have been killed in South Africa in the last two years.
