Odumodublvck Denies Role in Blaqbonez’s ‘ACL’ Disappearance

Nigerian rap heavyweight Odumodublvck has shut down swirling rumours tying him to the brief removal of Blaqbonez’s controversial track ACL, insisting the narrative is built on speculation rather than fact.

The drama ignited when ACL, a fiery diss widely interpreted as a shot at Odumodublvck, suddenly vanished from major streaming platforms, prompting fans to suspect foul play from his camp. But addressing the issue during a live session on X, the Abuja-born rapper dismissed the claims outright, stating that neither he nor his team had any hand in the takedown.

According to him, pulling down a song distributed through official channels isn’t something a rival artist can casually orchestrate. He emphasised that such actions are governed by strict legal and distribution frameworks, not personal vendettas or industry beef.

Still, Odumodublvck acknowledged that his own cryptic social media posts may have added fuel to the fire. He clarified that the messages were nothing more than playful trolling aimed at Blaqbonez, not evidence of any behind-the-scenes interference.

The episode is the latest twist in a simmering rivalry between the two rappers, one that has steadily escalated from competitive banter to pointed diss tracks and public sparring. The tension only deepened with the release of No Excuses (Deluxe), where Blaqbonez reintroduced a revamped version of ACL following the original’s disappearance.

While some industry whispers have pointed to possible issues around beat ownership or distribution rights, there has been no concrete proof linking Odumodublvck to the incident. What remains undeniable, however, is that the clash between both artists continues to grip Nigeria’s hip-hop scene, turning every move into a headline and every release into a statement.
