Nollywood veteran Dele Odule has shut down false reports of his demise and strongly condemned malicious rumors aimed at tarnishing his reputation.
On February 19, 2025, the beloved actor took to Instagram to reassure fans that he is very much alive, expressing disappointment over the spread of such baseless claims.
“There is nothing wrong with me; I’m very much alive. I don’t know why someone would wish me dead. This is uncalled for, barbaric, and not fair,” Odule declared in a video statement.
But the death hoax wasn’t the only troubling rumor circulating—Odule also addressed allegations linking him to child molestation. Dismissing them as outright fabrications, he questioned the motives behind such damaging falsehoods, emphasizing how such misinformation can ruin lives.
“I have spent decades building my name, and I will not let baseless lies destroy my legacy,” he affirmed.
