Nice Guys? Not Their Type – Frank Edoho Stirs Relationship Talk

Veteran broadcaster and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire host, Frank Edoho, has set social media buzzing after claiming that many women secretly prefer “bad boys” over traditionally nice guys.

Speaking candidly on TVC’s The Black Table, Edoho didn’t mince words:

“There are some strange things going on in the minds of these women you’re trying to be nice to. I’m not saying all of them, but most women don’t like nice guys. They want bad guys who are nice to them sometimes.”

The viral moment has split opinions online — with some backing his claim, pointing to how confidence and a hint of mystery often trump soft-spoken gentleness in today’s dating scene. Others, however, have slammed Edoho’s generalization, calling it outdated and reductive in an era that values emotional intelligence and mutual respect.

Edoho is no stranger to controversial relationship takes. In a previous episode of the Bahd and Boujee podcast, he claimed that a man can cheat and still love his partner, while a woman who cheats has emotionally checked out — a comment that also drew sharp criticism.

Whether viewed as blunt truth or flawed logic, Frank Edoho’s latest remarks have reignited a familiar debate: What really attracts women — the gentleman or the rebel?
