French Justin Bieber lookalike has pulled off the prank of the year—before the lights came up on his deception.
Las Vegas saw its fair share of outrageous nights, but few compare to the spectacle that unfolded at Wynn’s XS Nightclub.
The Prank That Fooled Everyone
On August 16, 2025, 29-year-old Dylan Desclos from Normandy, France, strutted into XS with a fake entourage, mirrored tattoos, dark shades, and the pop star’s swagger.
In the club’s hazy lights, he lip-synced “Sorry” on stage, sending the crowd—and even headliner DJ Gryffin—into a frenzy, believing Bieber had just made a surprise appearance. Gryffin later laughed off the mix-up online, dubbing the incident “Beibergate” and joking, “I literally thought, ‘he’s put on a lot of weight since the album dropped.’”
The Price of Pretending
By the time security uncovered the hoax, Desclos and his team had already splurged nearly $10,000 on drinks. The result? A swift escort out the door, repayment of the tab, and a lifetime ban from the venue.
Who Is the Fake Bieber?
Desclos isn’t new to impersonation fame. The TikTok star has made waves for years with his uncanny resemblance to Bieber—so much so that Hailey Bieber once commented on one of his clips: “I’m scared…” His latest stunt, however, proved just how far a convincing lookalike act can go in the right setting.
Bigger Than a Prank
The fiasco raises larger questions about how easily celebrity lookalikes can stir chaos in the age of social media hype and dimly lit nightlife. For XS, it was a costly—and unforgettable—lesson in identity checks.
