Nigerian female music star, Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, also known as Ayra Starr, has headlined the inaugural YouTube Live concert on October 20, 2024, in Nairobi.
The event which was streamed live across the globe, attracted attention from music enthusiasts who are waited for the Grammy-nominated Nigerian Afrobeats sensation to perform.
Featuring a blend of her popular hits and exclusive performances from her forthcoming project, The Year I Turned 21, the event marks a significant milestone as it is Ayra Starr’s first-ever YouTube Live concert.
Organized in partnership with Raha Fest, a Kenyan creative platform, the concert showcased African music talent on a global stage.

Ayra Starr who rose in the music industry, is a Nigerian singer known for her rapid gained prominence with her debut album “19 & Dangerous” at the age of 19 and has since become a trailblazer in Afrobeats.
She has also made history as the first Afrobeats artist to perform on Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage at the age of 22.
Earning her global recognition, her music blends contemporary pop with Afrobeat influences.
