Founder, Silverbird Group, Senator Ben Murray-Bruce made an appearance at the Portugal-Africa investment programme, which took place from 12-15 October, in Porto, Portugal.
The programme was geared towards the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) and Portugal’s National Association of Young Entrepreneurs (Associação Nacional de Jovens Empresários – ANJE) investment.
For the mission to Porto, Ben-Bruce also went in accompany Prof. Benedict Oramah, the President of Afreximbank and the Bank’s delegation and other notable personalities.
The programme which aims at supporting and promoting Africa’s Fashion Apparel and Textile Manufacturing Industry in Portugal and across Europe, was prompted by Afreximbank and ANJE three-year partnership.
Created in 1993 under the auspices of the African Development Bank, African Export–Import Bank, also referred to as Afreximbank, has a vision to be the trade finance bank for Africa is the pan-African multilateral trade finance institution which has its headquarter in Cairo, Egypt.
