Nigerian model and actress Beverly Osu has once again addressed the longstanding rumors surrounding her time on Big Brother Africa: The Chase in 2013, firmly denying that she engaged in sexual activity during the show.
In a recent interview, Osu clarified misconceptions about her relationship with fellow housemate Angelo Collins. While acknowledging their close bond, she emphasized that their interactions did not cross into sexual territory. “I did not have sex in the House. I had a relationship with Angelo Collins, but we did not have sex,” she stated.
Addressing specific scenes that fueled speculation, Osu explained that certain moments, such as being under the bathtub with Angelo, were misinterpreted due to camera angles and editing. “Maybe the camera made it look so. Everybody gets naked to have their bath, so I don’t think it is wrong for me to be naked when I have my bath too,” she noted.
Osu also expressed remorse over any embarrassment her actions may have caused Nigerians, stating, “I’m sorry for embarrassing my country. I didn’t do it intentionally. My participation in the show was not to embarrass my country. I am a proud Nigerian.”
