The heated controversy between activist, Martins Otse well known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), and Nigerian social media influencer and crossdresser Okuneye Idris Olanrewaju, known as Bobrisky, has taken another dimension.
In a recent development, VDM released audio that had a leaked phone call audio on his Instagram page, where Bobrisky explained details of his six-month jail term.
With several events unfolding, VDM has released multiple purported audio recordings involving Bobrisky.
These recordings claim to expose Bobrisky’s alleged bribery attempts, including accusations of securing private accommodations to serve his jail term rather than a standard prison sentence through his influential “godfather” connections.
VDM also alleges that Bobrisky attempted to bribe officials from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and prison authorities to escape serving his prison time.
The ongoing revelations have triggerred reactions on social media, drawing both criticism and support from Nigerians.
Interestingly, lawsuits are being considered against VDM over his accusations against Bobrisky while prominent figures like Mr. Femi Falana (SAN) have become involved in the case.
Both parties have exchanged insults and accusations, while Bobrisky maintains his innocence and dismisses VDM’s claims.
