Bobrisky’s Homecoming Cut Short: Allegedly Arrested By Immigration Officials

Controversial Nigerian crossdresser and social media personality, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has once again found himself in the grasp of law enforcement.

Upon his return to Nigeria, he was reportedly apprehended by officials of the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS), sparking fresh speculations about his legal troubles.

According to reports, Bobrisky personally confirmed that immigration authorities took him into custody as soon as he arrived in the country. However, details surrounding the reason for his latest arrest remain unclear.

This development follows his previous encounter with immigration officials on October 20, 2024, when he was intercepted at the Seme border while attempting to leave Nigeria. At the time, the NIS labeled him a “person of interest” in connection with undisclosed matters of public concern, leading to an interrogation before he was handed over to the appropriate authorities.

Bobrisky’s legal woes have been making headlines in recent months. In April 2024, he was sentenced to six months in prison by the Federal High Court in Lagos for defacing and mutilating the Naira, a crime that landed him behind bars until his release on August 5, 2024.

With this latest arrest, questions are swirling over whether Bobrisky is facing new legal battles or if his previous infractions continue to haunt him. As Nigerians await further details, his dramatic run-ins with the law remain a hot topic of discussion.
