The grand finale took place at the prestigious Federal Palace Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos, drawing an audience of dignitaries, celebrities, and pageant enthusiasts from across the nation.
Contestant number 19, Joy Raimi who represented Osun State, is currently the newly crowned Miss World Nigeria after contesting with 21 others.
Joy is a 24-year-old graduate of the University of Port Harcourt, driven by a deep passion for humanitarian services. She believes in the power of lending a helping hand whenever the opportunity arises.
Joy’s pet project, The Love for Humanity, holds a special place in her heart. This initiative is centered around spreading love and restoring faith and trust in humanity. Joy is committed to ensuring that everyone, regardless of their circumstances, feels seen and valued during their lifetime.
The competition featured 22 exceptional contestants, each representing their respective states with elegance and intelligence. Throughout the pageant, these remarkable women showcased their commitment to various humanitarian causes, aligning with the pageant’s “Beauty with a Purpose” ethos.

The first runner-up position was awarded to Miss Lagos while Miss Rivers secured the second runner-up spot.
The event was graced by notable personalities, including Senator Ben Murray-Bruce, Chairman of the Silverbird Group, who has been instrumental in promoting beauty pageants in Nigeria. In his address, he emphasized the importance of empowering young Nigerian women to become global ambassadors.
As Miss World Nigeria 2025, Miss Osun will represent Nigeria at the Miss World 2025 pageant, scheduled to take place on May 31 in Hyderabad, India.
