Cardi B Charged With Endangerment And Assault
Cardi B has been charged with two misdemeanor counts of reckless endangerment and one misdemeanor count of assault at a strip club after turning herself in to police.
According to TMZ reports, the alleged incident which happened back in August, involved two females bartenders at Angels Strip Club in Queens, New York.
The bartenders who are sister, Jade and Baddie Gi claimed that Cardi with some of her associates attacked them with bottles and chairs. The women reportedly required medical care.
TMZ also revealed that the attack happened because Cardi accused Jade of sleeping with her husband Offset.
The attorney representing the two female bartenders, Joe Tacopina, released a statement on Monday saying:
“Cardi B ordered and committed violent assaults against my clients, and is being called to justice for her crimes. Apparently, she thinks her celebrity status puts her above the law, since she has bragged to multiple people and on social media that she orchestrated these vicious attacks.
But reality is setting in, as justice does not care whether her name is Cardi B or Carly B, and she will now answer for her crimes.”
A photo of the rapper leaving the precinct showed her wearing Marilyn Monroe-style blond hair, a white blouse and white heels and a khaki skirt split up the side.
