The 2024 edition will be the 73rd Miss Universe pageant, to be held in the Arena CDMX in Mexico City, Mexico, on 16 November 2024.

This comes after she stepped away from Miss South Africa due to controversy surrounding her Nigerian heritage, she returned to Nigeria to win the Miss Universe Nigeria title in August.
