Former NFL player Colin Kaepernick, who has been discriminated against after his racial injustice protest of kneeling during pre-game anthems has been chosen as the face of a new advertising campaign by Nike.


The ex-San Francisco 49ers player who hasn’t been able to sign for a new team after his protest was chosen to help mark the 30th anniversary of the brand’s famous “Just Do It” slogan.


Kaepernikc took to his Twitter page to post a picture of the Nike campaign with a power message which reads:


“Believe in something, even if it means sacrificing everything.”
