Nigerian singer, Dammy Krane has tendered an apology to award-winning singer, David Adeleke, well known as Davido.
Krane’s apology follows his release from police custody recently after his arrest, which was allegedly influenced by Davido.
On the reason for his arrest, it was alleged that the singer made an allegation against Davido, including an alleged complicity in the death of Tagbo and an alleged debt he owed him.
on the order of Davido, who was said to have preferred a case of defamation against the singer, Krane was recently arrested by the police.
With a close look at the situation, social media personality, Verydarkman (VDM) who came across Krane’s detention in police custody, decided to plead with Davido to release the artiste.
VDM went further to describe an encounter at a police station where he saw Krane in custody and had a conversation with the singer, in a post on social media.
While explaining, he said, “I asked him why he was in prison and he told me that it was Davido who put him there. I told him, ‘ Why won’t he? You constantly attack him and his family unprovoked and without proof. You started off by saying that he owed you money and changed his name from OBO to OB owe, without proof.
Going memory lane, the video was released by VDM’s Instagram account, on August 29, 2024, announcing that Krane has been released, it also revealed the artiste expressing his gratitude to him (VDM).
The caption of the post read, “Dammy Krane is out, dear @davido as you have honoured me by listening to my plea and granting my request in less than 4hrs God will honour you.”
In response to the post, Krane took to his X to tender a heartfelt apology to Nigerians, especially his fans for letting them down with his behaviour.
This happened a day after he regained freedom as he also expressed regret over his actions and outlined his plans for moving forward.
