In a heartwarming display of generosity, Nigerian music superstar David Adedeji Adeleke, well known as Davido has announced a ₦300 million donation to orphanages across the country in celebration of his 32nd birthday.
The funds will not only assist orphanages but will also support organizations dedicated to helping young people overcome drug abuse and addiction.
This philanthropic gesture continues Davido’s annual tradition of giving back to society, which has been a hallmark of his birthday celebrations in recent years.
The pop icon’s charitable efforts began in 2021, when he raised over ₦200 million by publicly sharing his bank details, which were donated to orphanages and the Paroche Foundation.
Since then, through his Davido Adeleke Foundation (DAF), he has continuously supported vulnerable children and causes that aim to improve the lives of young Nigerians.
