Drake’s Father Shrugs Off Kendrick Lamar’s Grammy Sweep Amid Ongoing Feud

The 67th Annual Grammy Awards on February 2, 2025, proved to be a night of dominance for Kendrick Lamar, as his hard-hitting diss track Not Like Us scooped up five prestigious awards, including Record of the Year and Song of the Year.

The track, widely seen as a direct shot at Drake, fueled an already heated rivalry between the two rap titans.

However, while the hip-hop world dissected Lamar’s victory, one man wasn’t losing any sleep over it—Drake’s father, Dennis Graham. When asked about Lamar’s wins, Graham made it clear that he had no interest in the drama. In a candid video circulating online, he dismissed the conversation entirely, saying:

“I don’t care nothing about that s—. That ain’t got nothing to do with me. All the best to him, man. I don’t do that bulls—.”

Graham’s nonchalant reaction is just the latest chapter in a long-running saga between his son and Lamar. The feud escalated in May 2024 when Lamar dropped Not Like Us, a scathing track filled with allegations against Drake. The song ignited widespread debate, with some calling it one of the most brutal diss tracks in hip-hop history.

Drake, refusing to take the hit quietly, responded in January 2025—not with a song, but with a lawsuit. He filed legal action against Universal Music Group (UMG), accusing the label of defamation and claiming they played a role in tarnishing his image. UMG fired back, denying any wrongdoing and reaffirming their support for the Certified Lover Boy rapper.

While the legal battle unfolds, Dennis Graham is steering clear of the controversy, choosing peace over pettiness. Meanwhile, Drake appears ready to move forward, teasing new music set to drop on Valentine’s Day—perhaps signaling that his next chapter will be written in the studio, not the courtroom.
