Miss Supranational 2021: Namibia’s Chanique Rabe Takes Home Crown
Chanique Rabe, who represented Namibia was crowned Miss Supranational 2021 on Saturday night.
The 12th edition of the beauty pageant took place in Nowy Sacz, Poland, and saw 58 delegates from across the globe compete for the crown including Nigeria’s representative, Akeelah Aminu.
Chanique was crowned Miss Supranational Namibia in November 2020 but could only compete for the international title this year after the 2020 edition of Miss Supranational was postponed due to the COVID-19 global pandemic.
The 24-year-old designer and model is the first representative from Namibia and the continent Africa to win the Miss Supranational crown. She walked down the runway in a gorgeous silver gown and looked flawless.
Chanique was crowned by Anntonia Porsild of Thailand, the outgoing winner of the pageant.
Miss Supranational Puerto Rico 2021 Karla Guilfu Acevedo emerged the first runner-up. Next in line was Miss Supranational South Africa 2021 Thato Mosehle, who was the second runner-up. Miss Supranational Venezuela 2021 Valentina Sánchez was the third runner-up while the fourth runner-up was Miss Supranational Dominican Republic 2020 Eoanna Constanza.
The judging panel included reigning queen Anntonia Porsild, Mister Supranational 2019 Nate Crnkovich, and Miss Supranational 2011 Monika Lewczuk.
