Rap star, Nipsey Hussle on Sunday was shot and killed in Los Angeles, just outside his Marathon Clothing store.
The news came as a shock and pure tragedy to not only the hip-hop industry and his former collaborators but to fans and family as well.
Hundreds of fans gathered near Nipsey’s shop to pay their respects to the late rapper. They appeared with signs, candles, and speakers to blast Nipsey’s music.
The part lot was still an active crime scene at the time of the gathering but just after midnight when the space was open to all, fans gathered closer to the storefront chanting Nipsey’s name.

Hussle did care about his fans and his community. In fact, he was scheduled to meet with LAPD Monday afternoon to sit down with the president of the Los Angeles Board of Police Commissioners and the city’s chief of police to tackle an issue that, along with his music, has come to define his life: gang violence.
Nipsey, born Ermias Asghedom, is survived by his son Kross Asghedom whom he shared with actress Lauren London, as well as a daughter named Emani Asghedom from a previous relationship.
Lauren London has yet to speak out on the death of Nipsey, but we can only hope she and her two son’s are surrounded by love at this time.
