Rapper Future may be up to something with rock legend Sir Elton John as he has teased fans about a new collaboration.
The Atlanta rapper star took to Instagram to share a photo of the odd duo posing side-by-side during a visit to the U.K with the caption:
“Me and my brother @eltonjohn leaving the studio,” he captioned the image, in which they were both sporting tracksuits. “Love is Love.”
Future didn’t offer up any other information about the unlikely get-together, but he has been busy of late working on his next album, the follow-up to January’s “Future Hndrxx Presents: The Wizrd”.
Elton’s collaboration with Future isn’t that out of the ordinary – he has become known for dabbling in hip-hop in recent years, previously working with Eminem, Kanye West, and Young Thug.
He also recently heaped praise on rap icons A Tribe Called Quest, declaring them the “seminal hip-hop band of all-time” during an interview with frontman Q-Tip on his Apple Music’s Beats 1 radio show “Rocket Hour.”
“If you don’t know A Tribe Called Quest, you’re stupid,” Elton told listeners. “But if you listen to (‘Electric Relaxation’), you’ll understand why I rave about them.”
