George Clooney Recovering At Home After Motorcycle Accident
Hollywood actor George Clooney had been involved in a motor accident in Sardinia, Italy after his motorcycle collided with a car.
The 57-year-old was taken to the nearby John Paul II hospital’s emergency room for minor injures on his arm, leg and pelvis. The hospital told reporters that the Oscar-winning actor was discharged within hours of the accident.
His agent told reporters: “George Clooney was treated and released from an Olbia hospital. He is recovering at his home and will be fine.”
It was reported that Clooney riding his motorcycle on Tuesday on his way to a film set when a car cut across his path and hit him. The impact of the crash threw the actor high into the air and he landed on the ground just inches from the front of a truck waiting at the intersection.
Clooney is in Sardinia to film his latest TV series Catch 22 which sees him play US Air Force commander Scheisskopf in the World War II Channel 4 drama based on Joseph Heller’s novel of the same name.
