Guinness World Record: Nigerian Gospel Artiste To Sing For 128 Hours

Nigerian gospel artiste Somtochukwu Nsofor, popularly known as Essemm, aims to break the Guinness World Record for the longest consecutive singing marathon.

Essemm plans to sing for an astonishing 128 hours, surpassing the current record of 105 hours held by Sunil Waghmare of India.

At a press conference in Lagos, Essemm revealed that the attempt is not just a personal goal but a mission to showcase the power of gospel music and spread the message of Christ globally.

The event is set to draw attention from across Nigeria and beyond, with live coverage and support from fans and the gospel community. The performance is being meticulously planned with considerations for maintaining vocal health and physical endurance over more than five days.

Essemm’s attempt follows a recent trend of Nigerians making headlines for record-breaking feats, adding to the growing list of Nigerian achievements on the world stage.

Officials from Guinness World Records will closely monitor his sing-a-thon to ensure compliance with the strict guidelines for record attempts.
