Jay-Z Tops Forbes’ List Of World’s Highest Paid Hip Hop Acts
Forbes has released its list for The World’s Highest Paid Hip Hop Acts for 2018 with rapper Jay-Z sitting at the No. 1 spot.
Hov this year had an earning of $76.5 million thanks to his 4:44 Tour, his On the Run II Tour with wife Beyonce and other enterprises. Following closely at number two is Diddy with $64 million from his stakes in Ciroc and Deleon tequila.
Next on the list is Kendrick Lamar whose huge Black Panther project, Nike and American Express deal to sold-out dates on the TDE: Championship Tour puts him on number three spot with $58 million.
Drake and J.Cole take fourth and fifth spot with $47 million and $35 Million respectively.
Dr. Dre and Nas are tied for No. 6 with $35 million. It marks the first time Nas has made the list since emerging with Illmatic in 1994. Nas hits the spot with an earning of $44 million over the past year, an income made from tours, endorsement deals and equity stakes from venture capitalist Ben Horowitz.
Sadly, no female star made this year’s top 10 spot.
