Philadelphia native Kevin Hart has issued an apology for his behavior on Sunday night’s Super Bowl game when he was seen trying to crash the presentation of the Vince Lombardi trophy.

The 38-year-old comedian and diehard Eagles super fan was in Minnesota for the big game, and like most Philly natives, was elated by the historic victory. However, the alcohol seemed to get the better of him during the NFL GameDay Prime post-game show.

“I been drinking,” he said. “I’m on cloud nine.”

When asked how he plans to celebrate, he said, “Philadelphia is a great city … I hope this is an example of what we can do.” He then dropped an F-bomb, before promptly leaving the stage accompanied by host Deion Sanders.

Hart later attempted to join team owner Jeffrey Lurie, coach Doug Pederson and quarterback Nick Foles on stage with the Lombardi Trophy but was stopped immediately by security.

The next day Kevin Hart took to Instagram were he posted a video explaining his actions on Super Bowl day saying:

“To all the kids out there I just want to say, don’t drink. When alcohol is in your system you do dumb stuff. Me trying to go on stage with the trophy was definitely in the top two stupidest things I’ve ever done but who cares? The Eagles won the Super Bowl!”
