Kevin Hart is reportedly all set to leave the hospital after going through a terrifying car crash earlier this month.
According to TMZ, the comedian and actor could leave the Los Angeles hospital between Tuesday, September 10, and Wednesday, September 11, 2019, where he has spent the last nine days. During his time at the hospital he underwent a successful spinal surgery.
It is reported that Hart will be heading to an inpatient physical therapy facility for one to two weeks before he can return home. Prior to his upcoming and intensive stint in rehab, he’s allegedly already taking brief walks and has shown the ability to climb stairs. Sources continue to share that the comedian is remarkably upbeat, echoing reports from Hart’s wife.
A source said, “He’s super eager to get out,” adding the Jumanji star was in pretty good spirits.
As Hart continues his rehabilitation, it has been decide that a medical professional will be with him at all time, until it is deemed that he is well enough to be able to cope independently.
It is thought that it will be at least four months before Hart can take on any new work, with reports that surgeons fused his spine in three places, following multiple fractures.
Hart suffered the injuries after his classic car careered off the road and into a ditch in the early hours of September 1.
He was a passenger in his highly-powered Plymouth Barracuda when it veered off the road on the Mulholland Highway in the Malibu Hills, California.
