Reality star and business mogul Kim Kardashian has peeled back another layer of her turbulent marriage to Kanye West, alleging that the rapper would randomly give away their five Lamborghinis to friends during what she described as his “episodes.”
Speaking candidly on the Call Her Daddy podcast, Kim recounted the emotional and financial chaos that marked her years with Kanye, calling the experience “deeply unsettling.”
“I’d come home, and we had like five Lamborghinis — and they’d all be gone if he was in an episode,” she revealed.
“You didn’t know what you were going to get when you wake up, and that’s a really unsettling feeling.”
Kim’s comments shed light on what she called the instability and unpredictability that eventually pushed her to end the relationship. According to the SKIMS founder, Kanye’s behaviour oscillated between lavish gestures and reckless decisions — one day buying new cars, the next giving them away.
She described trying to support him through his mental health struggles, including his well-documented bipolar diagnosis, but said the environment became too toxic to sustain. “When someone isn’t willing to make changes,” Kim said, “it makes it really hard to continue in a relationship that can be toxic.”
Sources close to the star told People and Cosmopolitan that Kim’s breaking point came when the emotional toll began to affect her children’s sense of stability and her own peace of mind.
Though Kim Kardashian and Kanye West finalised their divorce in November 2022, Kim admitted the scars remain. She emphasised that her choice to leave was rooted in self-preservation and motherhood, explaining that protecting her kids’ well-being was her top priority.
Addressing persistent online rumours, Kim clarified that she has never denied Kanye access to their children and that co-parenting remains an ongoing journey.
“I want my kids to have a good relationship with their dad,” she insisted.
