Latest Fifa World Rankings: Super Eagles Of Nigeria Move Up By Four Spots

The latest Fifa World Rankings for November, has reflected that Nigeria have moved to 31st position in the world.

The reason for this latest development is that the three-time African champions had Back-to-back wins in their 2021 Afcon qualifiers against Benin and Lesotho, on 13 and 17, November.

The new position will obviously encourage the Super Eagles who dropped a place in October and will be a reward for their effort from their recent performance in their qualifying campaign for 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.

Apart from the players, the Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr, also played a vital role to make sure that the Eagles get victory from a crucial comeback in a game that ended 2-1 in Uyo then they travelled to Maseru to beat the Crocodiles 4-2 in their second Group L game.

Ranked third in Africa, behind Senegal and Tunisia who occupy first and second place, Nigeria gathered 1493 points this month.

On December 19, The next Fifa rankings will be released.
