Man Sells Packaged Rice As iPhone

Andrew Boateng Gyimah, a Ghanaian-Canadian man has been allegedly arrested for defrauding two customers by selling packaged rice as iPhone to them.


He was arrested in Toronto, Canada by Canadian authorities after both victims reported to the police about the act.
According to Canadian Authorities, Boateng met the clients at Islington Avenue after they had seen an advert he posted online.


He then handed them over a Box which supposed to contain an iPhone 6.


However, when the victims opened the box they unfortunately saw grains of rice.


Mr Andrew is now facing double counts of fraud, two counts of false pretence and two counts of breaching a court order.
