MBGN 2021 News Conference: Silverbird, Geely Motors, Lush Hair, Others Inspire Contestants

As the 37 contestants for this year’s Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria, MBGN pageant prepare to move to the camp, the President, Silverbird Group, Mr. Guy Murray-Bruce has advised the beautiful ladies to obey all rules at the camp.

Speaking at the news conference on Thursday at the Silverbird Galleria Victoria Island, Lagos, Murray-Bruce noted that the 2021 MBGN is a special edition because it is being staged at a period the world is facing the challenges of COVID-19 pandemic.

According to him, the organisers had observed all COVID-19 regulations in the screening of the contestants, a rule he would love them to strictly adhere to while in the camp.

Murray-Bruce urged the contestants to be of good conduct, keep healthy mindset, put in their best and participate in all tasks given to them.

Earlier, the contestants were spotted taken breakfast within the venue of the press conference where they would later leave for the camp.

Speaking shortly after the conference, the Brand Manager, Lush Hair, who is also one of the co-sponsors of MBGN, Mrs. Folashade Oluwafemi, says that her brand is excited to be part of the pageant.

She said that MBGN had evolved over the years, describing it as a process and not just a pretty face affair, which the Lush Hair would be ready to participate with annually.

“We know it is going to better every year,’ she stated.

A partner, Malta Guinness, represented by Ifeoluwa Odedere says that the brand is happy to partner with MBGN family.

Believing that the event is going to be an exciting one, Odedere said he was excited to meet the beautiful contestants.

According to him, Malta Guinness will be hosting the contestants during the refreshment and fashion night, adding, ‘We are hoping to bring our vibrancy and nature to the event.’

For Pulse representative, Odion Okon, MBGN is a yardstick to measure pageantry in Africa and partnering with this institution is a huge one and it is going to be amazing.

“There is a kind of exposure that Silverbird and MBGN have but this time around, it is going to be bigger. We are going to do our best because partnership has been one of our strengths” he noted.
