Nigeria’s representative Maristella Okpala, is gearing up to bring home the prestigious crown, Miss Universe 2021, back home to her country.
Okpala who recently emerged Miss MBGN Universe at the Most Beautiful Girl In Nigeria pageant has a master’s degree in public health and has trained as an international flight attendant for Emirates Airline.
The 28-year-old damsel has also done some advocacy work, giving over 1,000 children school essentials, ensured pregnant people receive pre and post-natal care.
The beauty queen has also helped to maintain recycling and waste clean-up in Nigeria through the Africa Clean Up Initiative, and helped to prevent the spread of Malaria in Ajegunle.
At least 80 women from different parts of the world are currently contesting for the crown, Miss Universe 2021.
This year’s event, Miss Universe 2021 which holds, December 12, 2021 at Universe Arena, Port of Eilat in Eilat, Israel, is the 70th Miss Universe pageant.
Andrea Meza of Mexico will crown her successor at the end of the event.
