Miss Universe Nigeria 2024 contestant, Chidimma Adetshina said her goal is to win the 2024 edition of Miss Universe Nigeria beauty pageant which is about to take place in Nigeria.
The model made this statement during an interview when she arrived in Nigeria. During the interview, she also said it has been twenty years she left the shores of the country and she wants to know more about the culture in Nigeria and where she comes from.
When asked about her expectations now that she is in Nigeria, and what she hopes to learn in Nigeria being a participant in the Miss Universe Nigeria 2024, she said,
‘’I am excited I am in my father’s land and I want to experience more.
Its been 20 years since I have been here, so I want to know about the culture, and where I really come from.
So my goal is obviously to win the crown for Miss Universe Nigeria and I do have an impact I want to share with everybody. As a woman who has obviously faced diversity, I want to use my story to bring people together.

Miss Adetshina was born in South Africa to a Nigerian father and a Mozambique mother contested for the recently concluded Miss South Africa 2024 but was withdrawn from the competition amidst controversies surrounding her South African citizenship claims and Nigerian heritage.
After her withdrawal went viral, which made her to quit the competition, the Miss Universe Nigeria pageant made a historic decision by officially inviting her to participate in the upcoming Miss Universe Nigeria 2024 competition.
Interestingly, she accepted and honoured the invitation which was extended to her through a Press Release which was sent to her by the organisers of Miss.
