The stage is set, the lights are primed, and anticipation hangs thick in the air as Lagos prepares to host the grand finale of Miss Universe Nigeria 2025 tonight at the Balmoral Event Centre, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island.
Now in its third edition, the pageant has grown into more than just a beauty competition — it has become a celebration of culture, elegance, and empowerment. From the opening curtain to the final walk, the night promises a spectacle where one of 22 dazzling contestants will rise as Nigeria’s new queen.
For the past week, the delegates have lived, learned, and trained at Festival Hotel in Festac Town. Their days were filled with wellness sessions, high-energy fitness drills, a novelty football match, a spirited talent showcase, and a cultural fashion show that celebrated Nigeria’s rich heritage. Each activity pushed the queens to refine their poise, build resilience, and embrace teamwork while letting their individuality shine.
Organisers say this year’s edition will “raise the bar”, with a meticulously planned show designed to deliver elegance on every front. Coaches, too, have been full of praise, describing the contestants as disciplined, charismatic, and determined.
“The crown will be fiercely contested,” the organisers affirmed. “Every contestant has the knowledge, the beauty, and the strength to earn enough votes and emerge the new Miss Universe Nigeria.”
Inside the camp, the atmosphere has been electric — a sisterhood forged in competition, yet bonded by shared ambition. One coach summed it up best: “Their performances have been terrific, and their comportment, excellent.”
With empowerment and cultural pride as this year’s driving themes, the spotlight now turns to Balmoral Hall. Tonight, the suspense ends and a new journey begins. Among 22 hopefuls, only one will leave with the coveted crown.
The question lingers: whose head will it grace?
