Nigerian hitmaker, Naira Marley had something interesting to say as he called out his fellow Nigerian artists to stop buying YouTube views.
He took to his Instagram stories on Sunday, July 4th, to advise his colleagues and fellow artists to stop buying Youtube views as anyone could tell by the views. He also denied addressing Nigerian artists with his post, saying he is sure they are not in the bracket of people who buy views. He wrote:
“Stop buying YouTube views. We can tell by the likes. I’m not even talking about anybody from Nigeria o. I’m sure nobody in Nigeria will ever.“
Naira Marley’s comment about Youtube views is coming barely a week after dropping the video for his latest song, “Coming” with South Africa’s Busiswa.
The act of buying views has been a topic of discussion for the longest time within the music industry. However, there’s no way of telling for sure if someone has bought views.
