Nicki Minaj has finally broken her silence since her altercation with Cardi B Friday night at New York Fashion Week.
Addressing the story on her Queen Radio show on Beats One, the rapper – real name is Onika Tanya Maraj – said, “The other night, I was a part of something so mortifying and so humiliating to go through.”
She said the crowd who witnessed the alleged scuffle was “upper echelon” and added, “The way they passed by looking at this disgusting commotion, I will never forget. I was mortified.”
She denied insulting Cardi B as a mother and said: “I would never talk about anyone’s child or parenting. I don’t care about anyone’s parenting. I don’t give a s**t and it’s so crazy to me that people always feel the need to make Onika the bad guy.
“I just want to let the world know that Onika Tanya Maraj would never, has never and will never speak ill of anyone’s child.” She added: “I am not a clown. That’s clown s**t.”
She also said that Cardi could get killed if she tries attacking other people the way she did her.
“You put your hands on certain people you gon die. PERIOD. And y’all sitting here making this s*** a joke? I’m not the b____es in the strip club and I’m not a b___h on a reality show. My money is very f***ing long.”
Cardi B a day after the altercation posted a message on her Instagram which appeared to be aimed at Minaj, commenting:
“When you mention my child, you choose to like comments about me as a mother, make comments about my ability of my daughter is when all bets are f***in off!! I’ve worked to [sic] hard and come too far to let anybody f*** with my success!!!!”
