Nicki Minaj’s “Chun Li” Single Goes Platinum
Nicki Minaj‘s “Chun Li” single has been making head waves since it’s March release and now it has been certified platinum.
The rapper took to her Instagram page to reveal the achievement stating it was “A cute little song I freestyled in a cpl mins.” She thanked her “very own” producer J Reid, who created the instrumentals for both “Chun-Li” and “Barbie Tingz” as his first big placements, then also thanked YG for her inclusion on his new single “Big Bank.” She closed the message with a message to the fans who have patiently waited for her new album’s arrival.

The single, which is set to appear on her upcoming fourth album ‘Queen,’ peaked at No. 10 on the Hot 100 and was certified gold back in March.
‘Queen’ is scheduled to be released on August 10th. “Chun-Li” was released as the first single and followed up by “Bed” with Ariana Grande as the second. It will also contain the promotional single “Rich Sex” with Lil Wayne.
