Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, well known as Portable, has lamented after meeting with the presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 election, Peter Obi on Sunday.
Both Obi and Portable briefly exchanged pleasantries, at the airport in Benin City, the Edo State capital, but their meeting went viral in a video on social media.
Portable expressed disappointment that Obi did not give him anything, while speaking in a video after the meeting with the former Governor of Anambra State.
The singer also said President Bola Tinubu would have given him money if it were to be him he met.
In his words, “Obi cannot give us anything. Obi didn’t give us anything. If it was Tinubu we met, he would have given us something. Let’s go.”
