Project YNSPYRE: First Set Of Participants Graduate After Three-Month Creative Training

The creative training, skill and work placement project tagged: Project YNSPYRE has come to an end with a graduation ceremony for the participants which took place at the Silverbird Galleria on Friday.

The training which gives potential interns the opportunity to exhibit their skills was powered by Heritage Bank’s YNSPYRE Savings Account and the Silverbird Group.

At the end of the training at Project YNSPYRE, five interns were trained to develop their creative skills in different fields; which were:  TV Presenter, Radio Presenter, Newscaster, Cameraman and DJ.

The five participants that graduated were: Deborah Johnson (Radio Presenter), Bello Ayobami Gabriel (Cameraman), Derrick Ugwuegbu (News Anchor), Ayomide Grace Solaja (TV Presenter), Oluwaseun Ikoya (Disc Jockey).

Dignitaries and representatives from Heritage Bank and Silverbird which were present at the graduation ceremony were:

Ms Ozena Utulu, Head, Brand Management & Sustainability Heritage Bank

Mr Jacob Akinyemi- Johnson, Chief Creative Officer Silverbird Communications

Mr Mustapha Isah, Head of News, Silverbird’s Rhythm FM Lagos

Mr Iyke Chinke, Head of Programs, Silverbird’s Rhythm 93.7 FM

Some highlights at the event were: introduction by the guests,(Heritage Bank and Silverbird Group), speech by the mentors and mentees,  certificate presentation to the interns, a short video which captures the five interns during their training and photo sessions.

Project YNSPYRE is a training programme in line with the N1billion NAIRA loan facility for the creative industry.
