Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has made a striking revelation: she has no plans to marry again, describing her experience with marriage as deeply “traumatising” following her very public split from estranged husband Senator Ned Nwoko.
In a candid social media exchange, Daniels, who shared a video captioned “God is my guyy shaaa, and I’m his special last born”, addressed fans curious about her romantic future. When asked if she would consider tying the knot again, she responded bluntly: “Nopeee! Traumatised with that institution.”
The actress’s statement comes after a turbulent 2025, which saw her separation play out under intense public scrutiny. In October, a viral video captured Daniels in tears as she alleged domestic abuse, claims that Nwoko denied, countering with accusations regarding her past substance use. Daniels later admitted to experimenting with hard drugs but insisted the narrative had been manipulated against her.
When asked if she missed her children and former husband, Daniels revealed she lacked the emotional capacity to invest in another relationship but admitted she deeply missed her sons.
Daniels and Nwoko, who married in 2019, are parents to two boys. Their union was controversial from the outset due to their significant age gap, and Daniels has previously stated they were not legally married, adding complexity to any formal divorce process.
Her vow to remain single has ignited widespread discussion online, with fans and critics weighing in on the lasting effects of personal trauma and public scrutiny on her views of love, marriage, and relationships.
