Talented Nigerian singer-songwriter, Rema has earned a gold certification for his hit single “Calm Down” in France.
According to SNEP, Rema’s 2022 released single ‘Calm Down’ has passed the threshold for the eligibility for a gold certificate in France.
This means that the single which appeared on the artist 2022 debut album, “Rave & Roses” has sold 100,000 units(equivalent to 150,000,000 streams) in the French country.
Rema took to his Twitter page to confirm receiving the gold certificate while thanking the French country for being supportive and streaming his song.

Released on February 11, 2022, ‘Calm Down’ has earned a gold in France in less than 5 months.
It has also become his second song to be certified gold in France. “Dumebi”, which appeared on his first EP titled “Rema”, also went gold in France. He was in Paris recently to receive the gold plaque for ‘Dumebi’.
