Talented Nigerian singer Remilekun Abdulkalid Safaru well known as Reminisce said Nigerian artists should to be versatile.
The dynamic artiste who blends different genres of music like hip hop and Afrobeat was a guest on the popular show ‘Faaji Friday’ at Rhythm 93.7 FM, being hosted by Reazy.
Reminisce who grew up listening to both local and foreign rappers like Nas, Jay Z and Snoop Dogg, and began performing at school activities stated that his zeal for learning new things enabled him to start doing recording with his phone, recently.
Reminisce who hails from, the western part of Nigeria, Yewa South LGA in Ogun state said he tries to be himself and especially when it looks as if things are changing.
He also stated that artistes need to blend, learn new things, and play different kinds of music, making reference to conventional footballers who are not inform any longer.
On his being versatile, he commented on the movie he acted, titled “King of Boys” and his new song titled “Oja”.
