Legendary Nigerian actor Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD) is taking his storytelling prowess to a global audience with two groundbreaking film projects, Radio Voice and Revelations.
In a bold move that cements his creative legacy beyond acting, RMD Productions has partnered with Nile Entertainment Group for an exclusive worldwide distribution deal, marking a significant milestone in Nollywood’s global expansion.
Set for release on April 11, 2024, Radio Voice tells the gripping tale of a former sex worker who finds redemption through an ailing radio station, only to be confronted by the ghosts of her past. According to RMD, the film delivers a powerful message of second chances, crafted with authenticity rather than cliché.
Meanwhile, Revelations, slated for an August 2025 premiere, takes audiences on a cross-cultural journey between Nigeria and the United States. The film delves into the struggles of a Nigerian-American couple navigating infertility, cultural tensions, and long-buried secrets that threaten to unravel their marriage and careers. RMD’s son, Oghenetega Mofe-Damijo, who co-produced the project, describes it as a fusion of Nollywood and Hollywood storytelling, offering a fresh cinematic experience.
With these projects, RMD is not just adding to his stellar career—he’s reshaping the narrative of Nigerian cinema on the global stage. His vision for Radio Voice and Revelations signals a new era where Nollywood stories are told with depth, authenticity, and a universal appeal.
