Influential American rapper, Sean “Diddy” Combs, one of the music industry’s most renowned figures, now faces a series of new legal challenges as six plaintiffs bring forward allegations of sexual assault, adding to existing accusations from over 100 individuals represented by attorney Tony Buzbee.
These latest lawsuits, filed in October 2024 in New York federal court, allege assaults spanning from 1995 to 2021 and detail troubling accounts, including claims from individuals who were minors when the incidents allegedly occurred.
One plaintiff recounts a disturbing incident at Combs’ famed “White Party” in the Hamptons, where he allegedly abused a 16-year-old boy in 1998, promising him a path to fame in exchange for compliance.
Another lawsuit describes a 1995 encounter at a Biggie Smalls video release event, where a woman alleges that Combs cornered her in a bathroom and assaulted her, later issuing threats to ensure her silence.
Additional accusations detail incidents involving drugged victims who were then allegedly assaulted, with claims that some incidents took place on the premises of Macy’s and Marriott properties, leading to their inclusion in the legal actions.
Combs, who is currently incarcerated and awaiting trial on unrelated charges of trafficking, has denied all allegations, calling them defamatory and misleading.
His legal team insists the accusations are sensationalized attempts to garner publicity, and they maintain that these cases will be refuted in court as his trial approaches in 2025
