Small Doctor Granted Bail, Back On Social Media
Singer, Small Doctor, was arraigned at the Ebute Metta Magistrate Court, where he pleaded not guilty to all the charges against him. He was promptly released on bail on self-recognizance.
It is reported that the singer, whose real name is Adekunle Temitope was released alongside the three other persons arrested with him in Oshodi, Lagos with a warning not to be involved in any act of misconduct for a year.
Small Doctor had been paraded at the police command headquarters at Ikeja after he was arrested around Oshodi on Monday for unlawful possession of firearms and for allegedly threatening to shoot a police officer.
The state Commissioner of Police, Edgal Imohimi, said Small Doctor had in the past fired shots and injured four people.
He noted that the injured persons were admitted to a hospital and vowed that the artist would be made to face the law.
Soon after his release, Small Doctor returned to social media and posted a tweet thanking God and his fans for their support.
