Bayern Munich Beat PSG To Win Champions League

Bayern Munich in a tightly contested Champions League final in Lisbon have been crowned champions of Europe as Kingsley Coman‘s goal secured victory over Paris St-Germain.

Victory for the German champion secures a lucrative treble after it also won the league and domestic cup earlier this year.

Coman, who started his career at PSG, settled a tense affair with a 59th-minute header at the far post from Joshua Kimmich‘s cross to leave the French giants still searching for that elusive Champions League triumph.

PSG in the first half had plenty of chances to take the lead but their two attacking superstars Neymar and Kylian Mbappe failed to find the net. They found themselves frustrated by Bayern keeper Manuel Neuer who produced a series of saves, keeping Bayern in the game.

In the second half PSG had a good case for a penalty call when Mbappe looked to be tripped by Kimmich in the area but their penalty claims were ignored.

As Bayern celebrate being crowned champions of Europe once more, they become the first team to win the trophy by winning every game Champions League game in a single campaign.
