Super Eagles of Nigeria Clinch Crucial 1-0 Victory Over Libya

The Super Eagles of Nigeria on Friday beat Libya to 1-0, to win their AFCON 2025 qualifier match held in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state.

In the game, Nigeria dominated possession as the Libyan defense could not stop the Super Eagles from finding the back of the net.

Substitute, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru broke the deadlock, scoring a decisive goal to hand Nigeria the much-needed victory.

This result keeps Nigeria at the top of Group D, with Libya now struggling at the bottom.

The win boosts Nigeria’s chances of early qualification for the AFCON 2025 tournament, continuing their strong run of form in the qualifiers.
